WE’VE MOVED!

To offer therapy to more patients and accommodate our

growing practice, we have moved and expanded. Our

Palm Desert office has moved west to a new location in

Rancho Mirage in the Atrium complex. The Rancho

Mirage executive suite offers enhanced privacy and

convenience to clients from both sides of the valley.

We have also opened a new location in San Marcos that

speializes in treating teens, families and adults.

Therapists also offer telehealth sessions for clients

located anywhere in California from both locations and

from Orange County, CA.

TEAM UPDATES

Several therapists have joined Dr. Hathaway’s team last year, enabling more telehealth services and expanding care throughout California.

Megan is located in the San Marcos office and specializes in working with teens and adults. Doug, a therapist in the Rancho Mirage location, has extensive experience working with couples and individuals.

Additionally, Kendall is in Orange County and sees clients from across California online via telehealth, while specializing in young adults and the LGBTQ+ community. Amanda continues to be part of the Dr. H family and is extending her leave through the end of the year.

SOLUTION-FOCUSED brief THERAPY

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
